Le d\u00e9but de la synth\u00e8se commence par un R\u00e9action de Stork (A), faisant r\u00e9agir la Cyclohexanone et la Morpholine en pr\u00e9sence de TsOH pour donner notre premier produit, le 1-morpholino cyclohex\u00e8ne (1). Celui-ci sert \u00e0 nous donner la 2-Benzoyl cyclohexanone (2) par acylation, apr\u00e8s qu&rsquo;une ouverture de cycle (C) suivie d&rsquo;une r\u00e9duction nous donne notre produit de synth\u00e8se, le 1-Phenyl 1,7-heptanediol (4).
